GDPR Notice

This page summarises the rights and protections available to users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the UK GDPR, and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.

1. Controller
The data controller for Fizeek AI is Greek ("we", "us"), with primary establishment in Bengaluru, India. We will appoint an EU representative (Art. 27) and a UK representative before launch in those jurisdictions, and update this page with their details.

2. Your rights
Under GDPR Articles 12–22 you have the right to:

3. How to exercise a right
- In-app: Settings → Privacy → Manage my data.

We will:
- Acknowledge within 5 working days.
- Respond within 30 days (extendable once by 30 days for complex requests, with notice).
- Verify your identity proportionate to the request — usually a confirmation from your account email.
- Provide the response in writing or, at your choice, by email.
We do not charge for handling requests except where they are manifestly unfounded or excessive (Art. 12(5)).

5. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on:
- EU Standard Contractual Clauses (2021/914) with supplementary measures.
- UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
- Swiss SCCs for Swiss residents.
A copy of the relevant transfer mechanism is available on request.
6. Retention
See Privacy Policy §6 for retention windows. In summary: data is kept while your account is active; after deletion, removed within 30 days, save for legal-hold or anonymised aggregates.
7. Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, please contact us first — we will do our best to fix it. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence. Common ones:
- EU: find yours via the EDPB members list.
- UK: Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
- Switzerland: Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (edoeb.admin.ch).

We will update this notice when our processing changes or the law evolves. The Effective date above will move.
